Introduction: From Heaven To Earth, From Bride To Army
In our final week of our study, we come to the dramatic climax of the redeemed Church's journey: the return with Christ at His Second Coming. After the Marriage, after the Supper, Heaven opens up and the Bride of Christ is at the side of the King.

The Heavens Open - Jesus Returns
As The King of Kings
In Revelation, the description of Christ is described as how He'll look when He returns to reign for 1,000 years.
Description Of His Coming
He is Faithful & True; His Eyes are like Fire; He has many Crowns on His head; His Robe is Dipped in Blood; His Name is the Word of God; a double edged Sword comes out of His Mouth; He has on His thigh King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
This description above is not of a suffering Lamb, not the gentle Teacher, not the Crucified Savior, but this is the Warrior-King of kings! On His Horse He comes To Judge and Reign on the Earth.
Scriptural Foundation
- Revelation19:11-16, "And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS,”."
The Church Returns With Him
The same garments given to the Bride at the Marriage is what we are wearing. The army is not just of angels alone, for they will be present, but this specifically describes the glorified Church.
Scriptural Foundation
- Revelation19:14, "And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.”
- Matthew 25:31, "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne."
Why Does The Church Return?
To Witness The Defeat Of The AntiChrist (2 Thessalonians 2:8)
To See Justice Executed (Jude Chapters 14-15)
To Reign With Christ (Revelation 20:4; 2 Timothy 2:12)
To Inherit The Kingdom (Matthew 25:34)
To Fulfill Prophecy That The Saints Return With The Messiah (Zechariah 14:5)
We as the church return not as victims, but as victors,
clothed in righteousness, sharing in Christ's triumph.
The Battle Of Armageddon - Christ's Victory
Christ descends to the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4), the nations gather against Jerusalem (Revelation 16:16), and the King Himself destroys the armies of the Beast. There will be no long fight, no drawn-out struggle, and no risk of defeat. When Christ speaks, the battle instantly ends (Revelation 19:15). The Beast and False Prophet are thrown alive into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 19:20).
Christ Reigns Supreme. Evil is Defeated. The King of Kings takes His Rightful Place on the Throne.
- Zechariah 14:4, "Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance."
- Revelation 16:16, "And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon."
- Revelation 19:15, "From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty."
- Revelation 19:20, "And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brimstone."
The Inauguration Of The Millennial Kingdom
After the Second Coming, Christ establishes a 1,000-year reign, but where exactly?
- Revelation 20:1-6, "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he took hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time. Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their foreheads and on their hands; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years."
Satan Is Bound
The Saints Rule With Christ
Israel Receives Her Promised Restoration
Justice, Peace, And Righteousness Fill The Earth
This is the fulfillment of countless prophecies in Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. For the Church, this is our first stage of eternal reigning.

The Eternal Significance Of The Rapture Completed
The Rapture is not an isolated event; it is the launch point leading to
Reward,
Marriage,
Celebration,
Return,
Reign,
and Eternity with Christ.
From the catching away to the coronation of the King of Kings,
the redeemed are part of His eternal plan.
Application: Living Today In The Light Of What Is Coming
This final week calls us to think not only about being taken to Heaven - but about being prepared to return. What should we do as Believers in light of what is coming?
We should live with:
Boldness - knowing we return in victory.
Holiness - wearing garments of righteousness.
Endurance - knkowing our labor is not in vain.
Urgency - because many are not ready for His appearing.
Hope - because this fallen world is not the end for us.
Reflection & Discussion
What part of Christ's return stirs your heart the most?
If you returned with Christ today, what would you wish you had done differently?
How can you live more boldly as a future co-ruler with the King?
What does the Second Coming reveal about Jesus' true identity?
How does knowing the Church returns with Christ affect your understanding of the Rapture?
What part of Revelation 19 brings you the most awe or comfort?
How can we encourage each other to live with eternal perspective?

Prayer For This Week
Father in Heaven,
We come before You in awe, humbled by the privilege of spending these past 12 weeks searching the Scriptures, longing for Your appearing, and anchoring our hearts in the Blessed hope You have Promised. Thank You for every moment of Revelation, Conviction, Clarity, and Encouragement. Thank You for drawing us closer to Christ, the One who is "the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
Lord, we confess that these teachings are not merely information, but the are for preparation. Your Word says, "Everyone who has this Hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." So purify us we pray. strip away the distractions, sins, and lukewarmness that have tried to claim our hearts. Make us a people who eagerly watch, faithfully service, and boldly proclaim Your truth until the trumpet sounds.
Jesus, we long for Your return. WE echo the cry of the early church: Maranatha - Come, Lord Jesus! Sttrengthen our hearts for the days ahead. Give us discernment in a world overflowing with deception. Give us courage when darkness increases. Let our lamps. befull of oil, our Faith steadfast, and our love unwavering.
Holy Spirit, seal this study within us. Let the truths we've learned shape how we pray, how we speak, how we love, how we endure, and how we live. Make us faithful witnesses by proclaiming salvation, warning with compassion, and shining as lights in a generation that desperately needs the Hope of Eternal Life.
Father, keep us grounded in Your Word. Guard us from false teachings and counterfeit gospels. Empower us to contend earnestly for the Faith once delivered to the saints. may our lives reflect the reality that Christ is returning, that eternity is real, and that every soul does matter.
Lord, we ask for Your blessing over every heart that reads these studies. Not just this End Times study, but all the studies we have done and continue to develop in the future. We ask that the weary be strengthened, the fearful are filled with courage, the doubting be given assurance of their faith, the wandering soul be found and restored, and that the faithful be renewed with fresh fire from Your Holy Spirit.
As we conclude this study, let it not be the end of our pusuit, but the beginning of a deeper walk, a holier life, and a more urgent mission to proclaim Your Name to anyone and everyone who will hear Your voice.
We give You all the Glory, Honor, and Praise, for Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, Forever. In the Mighty Name of our Returning King, Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
